29th post
In every RPG game (such as FinalFantasy), almost every or every antagonist have way more hp than you. And it increases every time you fight them.
People would like to think it as a mean to make the game tougher. I like to think it as the antagonist having much more determination than you. The reason why you win them instead of them winning you is because :
1. The game is rigged and makes you much more stronger than them
2. You can use hell loads of potions and even revives and other healing abilities.
3. The battle is, in most cases, 3v1 with you being the 3.
My point is that everyone can't have all these privileges in real life. The only way to beat your opponent is having much more determination and training more than them.
People get better because they have their own reasons for self-improvement. Everyone should have their personal reasons.
To tell you the truth, I look down on people who play "just for fun" in sports CCAs. They are just useless fags.
In Year1, I accidentaly joined basketball CCA. It was because of three reasons; soccer CCA was damn boring, badminton CCA was full and jeremy was in basketball so I joined. I only played soccer, badminton and sailing previously and NEVER played basketball at all(except on rare occasions). But I committed myself to basketball, I trained hard so that I could be better.
True, CCAs are meant to relieve stress and for fun. But what's the point if you suck in it.
You don't just get better overtime by playing with your noob friends(I'm not referring to me or my friends). You play with pro-er people and commit yourself. And fulfill that commitment.
Even if you are good, you can be better.
If you can own your school team, why not the national team?
Lol.
Life is filled with questions...
because ignorant people are unwilling to find the answers.
